Students participated in various workshops on topics such as self-defense, early childhood education and breast cancer awareness. District D includes Axtell, B&B, Blue Valley-Randolph, Centralia, Council Grove, Hanover, Frankfort, Linn, Manhattan, Marysville, Mis- sion Valley, North Central, Riley County, Rock Creek, Valley Heights, Wabaunsee, Wamego, and Washington high schools and middle schools. Special guests included state KCCLA officers Ronicka Schottel, Washington High School, and Jenni Eastman, Mission Valley High School. State FCCLA Adviser Irene Storrer attended the meeting.
