REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER TREATMENT PLANT RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY PLANNED FOR RURAL WATER DISTRICT #2 IN WABAUNSEE COUNTY The Board of Directors of Rural Water District #2 Wa- baurusee County would like to extend an invitation to Benefit Unit owners and the general public for a ribbon cutting at their new .Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant on July 13, 2002. The ceremony will take place at the plant site at the intersection of Antelope Creek Road and Bald Eagle Road, south of Wamego. The ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. Senator Pat Roberts will be on hand as well as represen- tatives of State Rural Devel- opment. Bartlett and West will be represented as the en- gineers of the project and Young's Inc. as the general contractor. You may tour the facilities and we will be serving refreshments. We hope to see you there. The Reverse Osmosis Treatment Plant went online in early November 2001. The design, financing and con- st.ruction took three years. The new plant supplies our customers with the best qual- ity water ever in the District's h/story. The hardness has been reduced to 6 or 7 grains from 27 grains hard. Many of our customers have eliminated using their water softeners. The District serves several businesses in the Riley and Wabaunsee County area as weU.
